Black Tea - Russian Earl Gray
Black Tea - Russian Earl Gray
Ingredients from organic farming: Assam black tea (India), marigold flowers, cornflower flowers.
Natural aroma: Grapefruit, Lemon, Bergamot
A powerful citrus aroma.
A nice sweetness that goes perfectly with the pretty bitterness of black tea, softening it fortunately without making it disappear.
Earl Gray is a classic recipe for black tea flavored with bergamot. In its conception, at the beginning of the 19th century, it would have soaked a British earl (“earl” in English meaning “count”) named Charles Grey, to whom the mixture owes its name. He reportedly brought back the concept of a diplomatic trip to China. Sad sire affirm that he never went to China and that in any case the Chinese are not amateurs of black tea...
And what about Russian Earl Grey? This is an Earl Gray traditionally flavored with lemon. Indeed our count would have, according to some, in the heart of one of those terrible winters of which Moscow has the secret, miraculously picked lemons in a small garden near the red square.
Not agree for this last point we invent. What we don't invent, however, is that our RUSSIAN EARL GRAY is a real pleasure to taste!
