The Moccamaster is the machine used in tasting competitions organized by the Specialty Coffee Association. Indeed the Moccamaster offers all the qualities required for an ideal extraction: a water temperature between 92 and 96 °C thanks to a specific copper resistance, an extraction time between 4 and 6 minutes, a multi-perforated showerhead for an ideal sprinkling of the grinds, a self-mixing lid.
